All Cee Jay products must be cleaned regularly (at least once weekly).
To clean the products, the use of mild soap, water and a soft cloth or soft sponge is required.
Do not use harsh detergents (such as bleach, JIFF, Mr. Muscle etc.) as it will scratch and dull the chrome, electroplated, ceramic, Lucite acrylic or stainless-steel surface of the product and this will void the warranty.
Most 'Organic' or 'Natural' cleaning products have high concentrates of limonene, citric and lactic acid making them unsuitable to be used on Cee Jay products.
Toothpaste and other washroom personal care products may have bleaching agents and other abrasive and corrosive ingredients and may damage the finish of your Cee Jay product.
Please ensure your personal care products (such as toothpaste, shaving cream, soap, nail polish, hair dye, perfume etc.) are washed off your Cee Jay product as soon as possible to avoid any damage to the finish.
We strongly suggest soap (soap bars, exfoliants, shampoo etc.) be removed and cleaned off any product surface at least once a week.
As mentioned above, washroom personal care products may have bleaching agents and other abrasive and corrosive ingredients and may damage the finish of your Cee Jay product.
Along with brass, Cee Jay also uses 304 Grade Stainless Steel, which is known to be corrosion resistant.
However, dust and soap scum that is not cleaned correctly will oxidise and cause what looks like rust spots on your product.
To avoid this, the products must be cleaned thoroughly and regularly.
The use of incorrect clean and care methods will damage your product and void your warranty.
